Charly Wegelius came to us to train for the Ronde de L'Isard in 1998 .We liked Charly enormously he is one of the Sports gentlemen ,hard though where his cycling is concerned .Judging by the kind words he said about us in his interview for Cycling Weekly  He aprieciated us as well !
Charly Wegelius
What is your favourite training ride?

A loop around the Col de la Core and Guzet Neige in the Pyrenees .I found it last year when I stayed at Nick Flanagan's place down there for two weeks .It was brilliant , the roads are excellent and Nick and his wife look after you really well , so it's an ideal base for training .

If his second place in the Tour of Slovakia last month is anything to go by , we're going to be seeing a lot more in the future from the new British under-23 champion. He's the son of a Finnish showjumper. He shares a flat on the edge of the Peak District with Bradley Wiggins and Yanto Barker ,and he likes his mum's lasagne when it's gone cold and stodgy.
Charles Gordon Emil Wegelius submits to the glare of the spotlight-it's the Final Word .
